BEACH WALKS

Beach walks are the best, especially on K’gari. Home to more than 200km of golden beaches you could literally walk for days. We personally love a little sunset walk down the beach just in front of us, with our trolly and dingo sticks of course.

RELAX INTO ISLAND TIME

With so many things to see and do, we often forget to relax. Don’t pass up your chance to relax into island time with a book or a cup of tea. With plenty of space and lots of cosy spots to choose from, it’s easy to relax at Beachcamp.

SIT AROUND THE CAMP FIRE

The best evenings at Beachcamp are spent sitting around the camp fire. Every night we can we fire up the camp fire and share some stories and marshmallows. Under the stars with a roaring fire listening to the waves cracking, it doesn’t get any better than that, not forgetting your favourite drink too of course.

BUILD A SAND CASTLE

Why wouldn’t you want to build a sand castle on the largest sand island! It doesn’t have to be as fancy as this one but we do encourage you to let your imagination run wild and go crazy in the sand. And if castles aren’t your thing, sand mermaids are always fun. #beachcampfraserisland your photos of your epic sand creations and get 10% OFF your next stay.

COLLECT SOME BUSH TUCKER

K’gari – Fraser Island is home to lots of bush tucker like these wongs (or pippies) that can also be used for bait. You can also find beach worms… though you have to be quite the master to catch them.

MEET THE LOCALS

The dingoes on Fraser Island are known to be the purest breed of dingo in the world. These beautiful animals roam freely on Fraser Island and it’s vital to their survival that you merely admire them from afar and PLEASE DO NOT FEED THEM!

TAKING 3 FOR THE SEA

Spend some time on your beach walks picking up marine debris. We collect over 5 tonnes of waste every year from 75-Mile Beach and absolutely love it when our guests help us on our mission to clean up the beach.
